Do you play your records at home
Got to be played - that's what they were made for. Even occasionally find my children sifting through through the shelves and playing things they like - after the initial raised pulse of worry I have now decided that they can get on with it - they are 24 / 21 and 18 to be fair and generally have great taste but not always! Guess they must get that from me. Adam

What is this automobile record player??

News: Young Soul Rebels - Book Review
Got it last week and finished it Thursday - fantastic read and not only the stuff regarding the Northern scene - but also a real social commentary about what life was like at the time and some of the events that shaped our youth. Thoroughly recommend this.

Crossover Top 100
Agreed Dave - but definately has the right sound to my ears. Probably lots of stuff that was played by the more inventive DJ's from 78 onwards is now classed as crossover - but started life as Northern - bloody complicated business this soul music lark eh!! Adam
-
Crossover Top 100

-

The parliaments, "rainy day", on e-bay, end price,?
Agree with most of those above: Great tune and sounds fantastic out on a loud sound system - propper banging Northern - what not to like!!
-

Think Chris Anderton has a test pressing - seem to remember him mentioning it. Great track - love the album cover - one sassy lady - but would love the 45. Adam
