Tonite - Northern Soul Bbc Living For The Weekend
Generally feel that all of the comments on here have been accurate. I actually expected more negative comments. I enjoyed the programme Richard and Ian D really good. Not keen on the "celebs". No idea who the black guy with the hat is and what he had to do with it?? Colin was good, Ian is a diva aint he? Pete S puts a good point about his personal highs and lows. I think the scene is like that, even when you look at WC in the 70,s with its poor playlist. Then how Richard, Gary etc found and played some of the best stuff towards the end. Would be great to see extended stories about Stafford and 100 club. Even the revival story with us oldiesgoing out to play every few weeks. The thing I really love is hearing something I don't know then trying to find a copy. A good hours TV in general.

Ebay Recent Auction .... As At 07 July 2014
Trouble with the Skullsnaps LP is that it is SO hard to tell a real one. John Manship once told me that it was the number of Run Out Groove Turns and where the Matrix number is placed in said grooves. Cant fully remember. Hard one to clear up. Unless someone knows an easier method of course.

Just How Rare
Yes good question. I would like to know the definitive count of Billy Woods on Sussex. I have one and I had one in the 80,s which I sold. Interesting thread maybe. Bearing in mind I assume something like George Lemons ( YUK) was most likely a vanity press maybe. Not sure I can recall another on the label and who in there right mind would consider it acceptable for public release? I know there are loads of very knowledgeable folks on here. But a tiny label from anywhere would likely press a minimum amount ( 300?) to try to attract the public and the DJs at the time. Also things like The Nomads on Mo Groove were supposed to have been given/sold at the gigs involving the beach scene. Maybe that's why some are SO rare? MAYBE!

How Much ? Ronnie And Robin 2Nd Issue
Yes Bari Track is fab. One of Alan Pollards faves. I sold his copy to a lad on here. Turned out was his own old copy. It had his initials in the run out groove. What great tune Mike Terry could play.

What Was The Best Knicked Car You Ever Went To A Niter In?
Tony Warot you are a very naughty boy. I still think you never got over my "interaction" in the hire car we had in Wigan car park. The girl was from Halifax and I went to err ehmm "collect" a record for you. Ha ha! Nicking/borrowing TR7 indeed. What did Geoff your neighbour have to say??
