  6. We were at the top of the Rockefeller Centre in New York last November and happened upon on a couple from Cleethorpes. They were amazed at our gushing admiration of their town and as I made mention of Mablethorpe, the chap said "that's one word I wasn't expecting to hear today". I've had some great times at the 6TS Weekenders over the years and I do hope they continue perhaps with Ady in the consigliere role? Lastly and if I've stroked my chin correctly, didn't Sidney sing lead vocal on (The Serenaders) 'Two lovers make one fool'? Maybe he could add that one to the list. If poss like..

  8. Saddened to hear of the passing of Edward Bedford (AKA Steve Aldo). The '60s singer from Liverpool was Merseybeat's own black R&B/soul guy and had a cracking voice.

  15. Heavy hearted sad day today...
  16. Born again Christian and an Orthodox Jew? Bootleg Christian?
  17. He was too young, so sad.

  19. Yeah he isn't the sort to bugger about with fake bids, honest.
  20. There were no fake bids on this auction.
  21. Doesn't seem that long ago down the 100 Club I witnessed the copy in question being purchased for the princely sum of ninety quid. Can remember thinking it was pricey then as well as being well jel. Probably 15+ years ago. A record is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.
  22. 'Waggy' as in waggy tongue? You seem to be involving yourself in plenty you needn't! Having an opinion or drawing a conclusion is one thing, but the needless chat and reports to ebay? You've too much free time on yer hands pal!
  23. I was pleasantly impressed by his shoes. There, something positive. Shite dancer though & = shite ill advised tutorial.
