  1. We are both very well Peter, thank you suitably refreshed after our latest jaunt to Pembrokeshire. I want to go and live there. It's fantastic. You have really looked after those hedgehogs, which will no doubt have helped them gain the necessary weight that they need to get them safely through hibernation. They will be looking for places to make a nest anytime soon as you have mentioned. Steve
  2. Good evening my friend. . Apparently they're common and the caterpillars are on the move in September and October looking for a place to hibernate over winter before emerging as adult Moths next spring. Steve
  3. Can't believe that I have never seen this tribute before. Special thanks Ady. Steve
  4. Sparrowhawk which was a daily visitor to the cottage in Pembrokeshire that I have just stayed at Steve
  5. Sharon. I'm so jealous. One of my all time must see,s a Swallow tailed butterfly. Thanks for posting. Those hills and paths look quite bit steep and Rocky for Steve. . Hope your both well. Steve
  6. Well I got back from Pembrokeshire yesterday after spending a wonderful week there. Managed a few pictures of some Atlantic grey seal pups. Will post when I get chance to download them. Got a few more badger pictures to add to my collection. Seen plenty of Swallows virtually every day. Was paddling about knee deep on Amroth beach when I was surprised to see a school of seabass about 8" long chasing fry of some description all around me . Was a very special experience. Wish I had my camera moment. Steve
  7. Had a family group of 5 Swallows fly south over my back garden this afternoon. Don't think I will see anymore this year. Should still be a few house Martin's around for a few weeks yet. Anyone else seen any lately ? Steve
  8. Suz. Sorry you deleted your moon photos. I keep loads that are rubbish and use them as a benchmark for my next attempt. Always love your upper Teesdale posts. Hope it is Upper Teesdale now I've said it. Steve

  10. If you find Australian wizard 7" for £100 can I have it please. Steve
  11. Martyn. Possibly when it gets a 're-activation after it's first plays and consequently been superseded by the next big thing Steve
  12. These days I think it's the DJ playing the tunes that's makes it the oldie or the newie. Seriously Martyn. Unless it's a brand new release they must surely be all oldies. Even new discoveries. Hope your well Steve
  13. Question. How do you differentiate between northern soul and rare soul or r n b soul or popcorn soul or oldies or newies or sixties newies or what else pigeon hole you want to make up. Probably 99% of people on here don't give a toss what it's called. I don't. I go out enjoy my self then go home, if I don't enjoy myself I go somewhere else next time. Simple really. Steve
  14. Nice one Ade. Hope your enjoying them. Steve
  15. My God. 16 year's can't believe it's that long since that very warm night in Blackburn when the film was shown at king George,s hall. And I'd memory serves me right. Bobby Paris live. Steve

  18. When did that totally bit happen John. I must have missed it. Hope your well my friend. Steve
  19. Couldn't make it due to work but plenty of regular soulies did. Including some djs. It wasn't about a northern soul event, it was about Christie hospital and the fabulous work they do. Only one room was classified as a northern soul room and that was tiger tiger upstairs. Every where in the whole of the print works was dedicated to soul music in whatever form. As mentioned it was classified as . Manchester soul music festival in aid of the Christie. Every artist and Dj played for free. £18,000 and counting awesome amount. Steve
