Set off to stoke niter and talked my mate into turning back because I had a spud (a hole) on the bottom of my sock! I got the train over from nuneaton to this when I was very young, to hear what this...northern soul thing was about....remember asking someone what record was being played and he said it was frankie valli + the 4 seasons..the night...I thought what a nob head me dad likes them, he hasn't got a clue.....oh well you live and learn!
