  1. It'd be cheaper and easier to get it tweaked to read "Lenny" ...
  2. Belgium , from the trike's registration plate and the Geox and Olivier Dachkin on the street ... To be precise it's ... Rue des Fripiers 2 1000 Bruxelles Belgium
  3. Both OK now , thank you ...
  4. You might want to fix the YouTube link if you want to avoid negative comments ...
  5. In no particular order , just five from a sublime set by Danny Price at the inaugural Sure Shot Soul do in Sandy on Saturday. Sterling Magee - Oh She Was Pretty. Richard Marks - Did You Ever Lose Something. Katie Briggs - Last Time Around. The Honey Bees - Let's Get Back Together. Yvonne Fair - Walk Out The Door If You Wanna. Ann Sexton - I Still Love You. Could add loads more but some lemon limited it to a Top Five ...
  6. Always one chancer out there , cannot understand it on Discogs though when all the copies for sale come up on one page ... doesn't take much to spot the cuckoo in the nest when the other four copies offered are all less than a ton ...

  9. Oh I don't know , a steel toecap surruptitiously applied to the shin is a surefire way of clearing a beer-swilling 'div' from standing on the dancefloor ...
  10. Can see why it was never released as a single ...
  11. I was going to 'punk' gigs long before I got into the 'northern' scene but always loved the Motown sound along with some rock 'n' roll , blues , classical etc , etc , etc. The thought of going through life only listening to one genre of music ( or I'm guessing the same 500 records ) I find frankly ridiculous , you ought to try removing the aural blinkers and treating yourself , there's a big old world of sound out there ... P.S. Unlike the Northern Nostalgia Scene that's engulfing us Punk's not a matter of a uniform , it's an attitude ... and I've been going to 'soul' do's for 36 years

A real test pressing will be identical to the genuine demo/issue with regards to the deadwax details/stamps etc as these details are cut/stamped into the metal master itself. A test pressing is just that , a short run of discs used to check/test that the metal stamper is OK before a large pressing run is done so as not to end up with a few thousand unusable records.
  21. Only the 2015 "boot of a boot" was a mash-up with Chapter 5 and Mickey Moonshine , though quite why anyone would want to re-boot Ch5 and MM is beyond me ...

  23. Taking things to a new level here , with regards to the almost certainly libellous description on these 30+ discs ... https://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?item=112328503579&ul_noapp=true&_ssn=nataliee-2012&_sop=16
  24. I would say this is a sure-fire way of destroying an acetate , the bond between the lacquer and the metal is not strong enough to withstand the use of PVA which will bond too strongly to the lacquer more than likely removing the thin layer along with the dirt and mould , especially if there is any microscopic debonding already occuring ... which in the case of the discs shown is very likely. Weak soap solution using cold water ( warm water will soften the lacquer ) and a very gentle touch is the way to go.
  25. Maybe the powers that be could merge the two threads on this , pointless and confusing to be running identically titled/themed threads concurrently ...
