  1. Can anyone confirm that the single is longer than the LP cut by about 20 seconds? The LP has it as 3:19 (my recording of it's about the same), but the single states a timing of 3:40, is this correct or a typo on the label?
  2. There was a thread on the very subject, a while back.
  3. The issue of Troy Keyes See No Evil/You rescued Me On Time on Chumley is said to exist and there's one reference on a Japanese web site, but no picture. I'd like to see that one. Would love for someone to pop up with an issue of Joe Anderson You Gotta Believe, now that would be a find.
  4. I cant load it, so can't see what bargins are to be had
  5. Randy Brown - Randy - US Choc City - Ex+ Randy Brown - Midnight Desire - UK Casablanca/Pye - Ex+ Randy Brown - Intimately - UK Parachute/Pye - Ex+ Paypal only, gift preferred if you trust me. PM me if your interested.
  6. It's good that you play different tunes each time, keeps people interested in what you play. Not that I go out much, but when out we do sometimes play the "predict-a-set" game and a lot of times we get it right.......... I also think it also depends on the venue/soul night as well.
  7. I like the two Ella Brown Lanor 45's
  8. Nearly a year after this post, I've got a question. Is this the short, long or a different version of the New London Int release (not the Polydor re-work)?
  9. Actually heard Whatcha You Done For Me, first as it was a Bob Jones radio play on Solar/Horizon in the mid 80's and I bought it on the back of that side. So getting Making My Daydeam Real on the other side was a bonus.
  10. Its a bit of a nightmare as the numbering system is all over the place. I've got some form of listing at home I can post up when I return from work.
  11. How can this be a "discovery" it was in the Billboard Disco chart as a new release?
  12. But handy to have if you need to go to the loo mid-way through your set.
  13. Don’t do it. You don’t want all that agro with dialysis and anyway you'd get more for a lung
  14. I've never considered it a rare record, issue or w/d, I just thought that dealers had it over-priced.
  15. It might be that I live a sheltered life, but i've never seen a real issue of this, only white demo's
  16. Okay, if its recently sold on the open market for $50 + postage, surely that's the going rate? It's not an unknown record and I would have thought pressed in significant numbers and there are quite a few listed on collectorsfrenzy in and around that price. It wasn't mis-spelt in the listing, was in the correct sales section and was amply described. Why now a week later is it now valued more.
  17. according to the listing it was a near minter...
  18. One sold on ebay last week for $50
  19. Sell the lot and spend the money here: https://www.hamiltonisland.com.au/beach-club-hotel-resort/
  20. Thanks but its not really in the condition I want.
  21. I do think that many lister's on here initially put high prices on records on the hope someone is desperate for a record and then quite quickly list it slightly discounted if it doesn't immediately sell. Records are a luxury and in these times luxuries aren't a priority. The more realistic the price and quicker they will sell.
  22. Margie Joseph - Nobody/What you Gonna Do - Volt Issue only M- Please PM me with details of the condition and your fixed price, no requests for offers. Cheers, John
  23. An if its in "black n white" in the book, then that must be "the real" value.......... Anyone wanna take £200 for the pair?
  24. RIP George. One of the greatest songsmiths of the 20th Century and without his music my life would have been a less soulful place.
