  1. I've seen this clip on numerous occasions and never noticed the absent Tam. But surely the most memorable part of the clip are the threads. They couldn't have had mirrors in the dressing rooms could they?
  2. An absolute giant of our music. He will be sadly missed.
  3. Gonna have to get over myself in 2016, Kev. Music for the soul and right up my street.
  4. 'I'm an ugly boy' Well you got that right mate ?? Couldn't resist that! I have a great admiration for anybody that's got any form of musical talent so well done you. Theres probably 99% of the folk in here who couldn't carry a bucket never mind a tune, and a self penned one at that. Supergroup with Carl Dixon, Autumnstoned, Kris Holmes, all of whom can play I think?
  5. Doubt it was played at the Torch but I would swear blind it was played at the Mecca pre-Wigan, but this memory isn't what it was.
  6. Can see where you're going but of course there isn't a '31st of November'
  7. Track list was there when I played it. Icon to the right of the time line (if you know what I mean). Tracks however come up one at a time but the full list is there at the end.
  8. What a great track that Kirk Taylor is. Always loved the Jaedes. Great set.
  9. "Unknown Soul Northern Crossover Motown Tmg Rare Modern Funk RnB R&B Oldie's Classics Ultra Mega Popcorn Beat Mod Club New Breed Reggae Disco Boogie Doowop Rock n Roll Teen 50s 60s Physic Freakbeat Pop Records Vinyl" Covered all of the bases then.
  10. No releases for any of the tracks.
  11. Fantastic stuff as always Pete. And if anybody needs reminding how soulful Northern can be point then in the direction of the Del Royals and Dusty Wilson amongst many.
  12. Cheers. Will give it a listen over the weekend. Great showcase for a great vocalist.
  13. Awesome stuff. One of my favourite artists. Looking forward to part 2.
  14. I quite liked "Hurt the one you love" - David Ruffin
  15. What a superb podcast this is. The Gladys Knight track is right up there with her very best and the Dee Dee Warwick one is simply sublime. Well done that man.
  16. There's an icon next to the volume icon that gives the tracklist.
  17. Looking forward to this series. XYZ might be a challenge.
  18. Glad to see volume 24 was definitely not the last one. ?
  19. Right up my street. Cheers.
  20. 6 now. Just listening, as always just superb
  21. On my early Xmas pressie list. Don't you just love Kent.
  22. Is there a soundfile somewhere?
  23. Listening now. Some absolutely fantastic stuff. The production on Jimmy Ruffin's version of "Too busy thinking..." is simply amazing. Just saying, but the Clarence Paul track isn't included in the track listing.
  24. Listening at work tomorrow sorted. Can't imagine anyone not liking these. Cheers Pete.
