US releases were yellow (promo) and orange (issue) (large hole). Aussie releases were both black small spindle hole. Hope this helps

Kent & Inferno were introductions for me as well. Frank Beverley - If That's What You Wanted, Four Perfections - I'm Not Strong Enough and Jackie Day - Before It's Too Late were the stand outs for me. Like you say hooked after that

I hope in posterity (good word that) that BVAN will get the recognition it deserves. OK it’s not a Casino, Stafford or 100 Club, but for what I needed when I needed it, BVAN was there. I can’t thank the BVAN team and the ‘punters’ enough. It’s kept me sane or more likely stopped me getting too sane. Oh and so many awesome tunes. Thanks again Andy

If you said to me 15 months ago a playlist from me would contain so many 'modern' tunes I wouldn't have believed you. I've learned so much from the BVAN nighters, so tomorrow will be bitter sweet. Thanks again to all the BVAN crew and DJs, and all the regulars in the chatroom.

I can only echo what’s already been said. BVAN has been fantastic over the past 15 months. The DJs giving us sets that constantly have me reaching for Discogs or thinking “Ooh I think I’ve got this, why haven’t I played this more?” The banter in the chat rooms, Len’s sausage gun story still makes me chuckle. Massive thanks to the BVAN team for all your efforts. Catch you tonight Andy

Just want to say that the BVAN nights have been fantastic and have get me going through these tough times. Brilliant job by all the BVAN crew. Loads of tunes that were new to me as well as some I'd forgotten about, but needed resurrecting in my brain. Plus the added bonus of the banter and knowledge in the chatrooms. Who knows I may venture up north to sample it for real at some stage. Massive thanks again Andy -

Same here I’ve been collecting records for 35 years on and off, so my selection, from my boxes, hopefully has a few that either passed under the radar or haven’t been heard for some time. Just to echo what has been said before, BVAN has made the past months more tolerable for me. Thanks to Simon and the BVAN crew plus all the DJs over the past weeks for making Saturday nights so enjoyable. Hope you enjoy them.
