    On Cleethorpes seafront in sight of the pier.Playing the best of 60's and 70's Northern, with a strong leaning to the Pier and Wintergardens Not rare, but often underplayed or forgotten beauties that take you right back. No strict playlist, we ask our DJ's to play the tunes they love and that make them want to dance; and some do. It's a Northern night served old style, definitely not your same old. This month Brian and Dave Pinches and Steve Mank are our guests and will be digging in their boxes of which there are many, to get us old buggers on the floor supported by our residents Pete Swift, Martyn Ward and Malc Burton. We choose a children's charity and each year donate all proceeds; this year it is Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice Its a ticket only event with numbers limited for comfort to 200.     What a refreshing change to a soul night, no mandated play list and what a treat the DJ's gave us; a wonderful mix of music, all in one room, something for everyone, something new to hear for most people we spoke to. Dance floor very busy and excellent for stomping, shuffling and sliding on. Well done guys you did just what it said on the tin. Was it worth our drive over from East Coast to West Coast? absolutely. You have set the bar very high, can't wait for the next one. Thank you it was awesome.
