Another excellent night at Burscough Legion with a very good attendance and a top mix of sounds all evening.

Thanks to everyone for attending last night and our guest DJs--Joan Livesey, John Elias and Bram Breeze--for playing the tunes.

Next one over at Burscough Legion is on Saturday 22nd. October with guests Tony Mac, Derek Smith and Fay Jones--see you there!

Another top night coming up at Burscough Legion on Saturday 24th September--not yet another Wigan anniversary event but a real soul night, 100% original vinyl and three guest DJs with great collections who really know their stuff!

If you want to hear something different this is the place for you, three different guests each time playing a different mix of sounds every month.

See ya there!

Looking forward to playing, listening and dancing,no drinking of course, great venue, great sound system, super floor and above all top notch soulies, always a warm welcome from Tony and Lisa.

If you've never been (I started in 2009 I think) then you won't be disappointed but do not expect to wall to wall oldies, you know where to go for those!

Am I nearly there yet???

Thanks Neil, if you were a member of Facebook they'd have to rename it Arsebook...

And that ain't a tag on your leg, it's a girlie anklet bracelet that you wear as you mince around the woods shooting up squirrels and bothering badgers.

See you on Saturday old fruit.

'Dance' i hope you use the word loosely as I've seen the man wander onto the dance floor looking for a towel, with a twist...

Don't you start as well.....just cos i look like a monkey in a washing machine ......doesn't mean the moves weren't carefully planned and choreographed:g:!!!!!

And here's me thinking that grimace on your face was a touch of wind again......anyway, DJ times are below for anyone coming along to join in the merry japes (and listen to a bit of quality music while you're at it). Plus with the added bonus of being able to admire the sultry and sometimes quite erotic moves of the Lord of the Dance himself, Neil the Keeper of the Faith. (Or should that be Lord of the Flies as he does tend to attract quite a few in the course of the evening.....)

8--8.45. Brookesy

8.45--9.15. Bram Breeze

9.15--9.45. John Elias

9.45--10.15. Joan Livesey

10.15--11. Bram Breeze

11--11.45. John Elias

11.45--12.30. Joan Livesey

12.30--1. Brookesy

See everyone tomorrow......

Last shout from us for tonight's Burscough Legion soul night, if you fancy hearing something different for a change why not come along later and have a listen and maybe a dance or two.

Real across the board sounds, all on original vinyl and it's looking like tonight is going to be a proper busy one--hope to see you all later.

Great night Tony, enjoyed the music and the company, still trying to place something you played early on but can't remember how it went now...oh well that's the way it goes sometimes. Paul Taylor who spoke to you at the bar really enjoyed it as well, he was buzzing all the way home and I couldn't get a word in edgewise.

Sorry won't see you next month as you know but hopefully you don't clash with Richard Caiton on at the wheatsheaf (mouse's venue) in November as Little George & I have two gold dust tickets courtesy of Johnno.
