Such sad news passed on by Barry   Frankie Knuckles, the Chicago house legend, has died aged 59.   Knuckles died Monday, as confirmed by longtime business partner, Frederick Dunson. The passing of Fred Bridges last week was sad. Fred Bridges. a songwriter and a co-founder of the group the Brothers of Soul (this name came about as a result of the riots at the time).
