Thanks so much for the continued support from near and far, it's so appreciated. Special mention for the lunatics from north of the border - they never miss which is amazing as it's hardly down the road. Mark, Carl, Dave and Phil - awesome as always. Bob - top knob twiddling, ooh matron. Lou, wristband application of the highest order, loved our dance at the end 1st April, 1st July (6th anniversary ) and 7th October next year for more of the same. Thanks again everyone and happy birthday Chalks xxx 3 Link to review

Told Lou and Phil that I had got lost, ( only joking ) to much laughing after my posting about directions. Stayed for a few hour's ,having not long finished a 12 shift with another 12 hours to do Sunday, wouldn't miss grumpy for anyone plus it was Chalky,s 50th . Hope you had a great night pal. Good to catch up with a few old mate's. ( thanks Ste for the record ) your a star. Heard some fabulous tunes but that goes with the territory. Can't wait for the next one. Hopefully won't be working so I can play out longer time. P.S.when is the next one gang ? Steve 3 Link to review
Philt 1,545 October 10, 2016 · Edited October 10, 2016 by PhilT 3 of 3 members say helpful 3 / 3 members Share this review We counted 50+ events listed for Saturday(just on here) so sincerethanks to the 100+ who chose to get along to our wee bash. (Hope your birthday was a belter Chalks and really glad you cut a rug down Runcorn way mate). Great to finally get Mark behind the decks and he didn't disappoint the lad Thanks as ever to the laconic Welding and twisted genius Fortnum. (Not forgetting Lou n Joan of course ) Always good to catch up with friends old and new and Saturday was no different with a good mix of regulars and new faces which is always encouraging, as was the truly outstanding whistling from the Scottish contingent. Special thanks to Bob T for his help setting up and giving us the benefit where the sound was concerned. It's always pretty good I think but Saturday showed what can happen when you involve people who actually know what they're doing. Much appreciated pal. Watch this space then for further grumpiness in 2017. Cheers 2 Link to review

Micksmix 2,301 October 9, 2016 4 of 4 members say helpful 4 / 4 members Share this review Well on a really busy night on the soul calendar Grumpy Soul delivered AGAIN!!!! great turn out and an outstanding playlist that kept the dancefloor busy all night.Where else could you hear all the Magnetics biggies "count the days" I have a girl" and great to see a full floor to "I'll keep holdin' on". Four Dynamics, grey imprint, kings of soul and quality oldies Sam + Bill the list goes on. Biggest bonus of the night was getting there at the first attempt through Widnes and over the Widnes/Runcorn bridge RESULT!!! Look forward to the next date as ever!!!! 3 Link to review
