Rhino 778 Posted March 11, 2017 i thought personally the music u played was good and enjoy hearing new and one off records but i also like a club that has a go atmosphere which is created by the amount of people up dancing and having a good time. you have got some top tunes and as you said you have a shed loads of oldies and why be boring. people pay money to be entertained and as the dance floor was quiet during your set people like myself sat and enjoyed listening to your set. so jordan playing country girl and i never knew and other oldies did that make him boring? in my opinion no the played a great mixture and played to the dance floor. i personally went and comment to baz and said you played some great records but would of preferred that type of set at an allnighter. just thought a few better known or under played oldies would of kept the dance floor busy. This wasn't just my opinion but a few others who some of who are djs said the same thing . you and jordan were advertised as the young guns in big red letters and bob,kev and baz as the not so young. age is irrelevant, experience on the other hand is everything and in my honest opinion keeping the dance floor busy is what a djs job yes we need to progress and have new records pushing the scene forward which is one of the reason i go to lowton as the balance is spot on. your comment on the mic about before your last two records was very honest but went down like a lead balloon. when a lot of people travel from workington, carlise and morecambe and all over the north of england paying hard earned money to be entertained and to me thats a night of dancing to a great mixture of northern soul.i think you and jordan have the records and passion to are be a big part of taking the music going forward just keep the dancers dancing all the best and would love to see you back at lowton .this isn't personal pop at you just a reply to your comments to me 1 Link to comment
