There are many male soul duo's like: Same & Dave, Mel & Tim, Eddie & Ernie and many many more.

We've got boy/girl combo's: Marvin/Tammi, Edwin/Blinky, Ashford/Simpson and again many more.

But what about female soul duo's. The only one I can think of at the moment are the Soul Sisters who recorded on Sue, but apart from that I don't think I've got or know of any more.

Please put me out of my misery and give me some more.

What's a femlale?

Don't know what you mean???? It's not like I'd be silly enough to spell female incorrectly in the title, would it...... :shhh:

Not at all. :no::shhh:

Barbara and Gwen

Funky Sisters

Cherries on Big Beat

Du-ettes

Sweet and Innocent

Honey Duo Twins (aka Jerline and Shirlene Shelton)

Crampton Sisters

...

will think of more later

Cut Glass on 20th century (orthea barnes and mildred scott)

Jackie and Oneida on KC Grooves

Terrifics on Diamond Jim

The precursor of all these (and probably more soulful than some mentioned so far) would probably have to be RPM's Teen Queens, of 'Eddie My Love' fame.

The Taylor Tones on C & T is supposed to be just Sherri Taylor and her mother. But, I've also heard that Sherri's sister (or cousin?) was also in the group.

there are three of them in a photo and it sounds like 3 voices (one lead, two backup) on the tracks (I didn't listen to all their cuts), so probably not?

You pipped me to the post on this Bob. By the way, do you sleep?

Had a few replies and have gone d'oh! How could I have not thought of them, especially Dottie & Millie. You can see there are some obvious holes in my collection.
