Does anyone else remember The Dooleys being launched on Nationwide (I guess about 1976) as the UK's first 'home grown' Northern Soul group?
There was footage of them dancing on what I think was an empty Wigan floor - wasn't long after Nationwide did a feature on the Casino.
Funnily enough if you think about Love of My Life and the cheesier end some of the pop-disco sounds around in that period... Long Gone etc.
