I was late casino era, another seldom played tune from those days:

skip mahoney - Janice

"I feel like a wolf in the hills". awoooooooo

OH.......Rufus Lumley Stronger Than Me! ......still fookin' love this

Wilbur Walton great tune.

Found in a Sheffield junk shop for 25p and given to Pat Brady 'cos he was with me when I found it. We were having a discussion whilst travelling out of Sheffield city centre and he was telling me how difficult it was to find great Northern unknowns back then and I was arguing that they were still out there waiting to be found. I saw a second-hand record shop, screeched to a halt and told Pat we'd find one right there. 5 minutes later I pulled out Wilbur Walter Jr. Job done LOL! :)

The Reflections "Like Adam & Eve"

Reparata & The Delrons "Panic"

Timothy Wilson "Love Is Like An Itching In My Heart"

Larry Barnes Rags Is Rags

Ronnie Davies What Does It Matter To Me Now

Robert L Saunders Come On And Go With Me(?) (Fluffy Falana My Litle Cottage)

Thought it was Robert L martin,  Fluffy falana?

What about - Evil - by Posse on Janus.

I see this going cheap a lot on eBay & always think it was probably worth a lot more then than it is now.

Think it may have even been a Russ Spin?

But I wouldn't bet on it, don't think its was Richards.

Was big for a while, bit weird too.

Yeah, forgot about both of those.

Massively fast.

What about Ral Donner, Don't Let It Slip Away.

I actually hated that, even though I think I had a copy, white vinyl if I remenber properly, sounded more like Elvis than soul.

Whisky Talking!

Ironic as they only sold Coke in the place.

If we are Honest here.....BRYAN HYLAND-THE JOKER WENT WILD........KAREN YOUNG----TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING.......NEWBEATS....DON`T TURN ME LOOSE

Whisky Talking

Played alongside Bobby Guitar Woods, it's mighty nice to know, this is great

Don't get out any more , so I have little knowledge of what gets played out at northern venues these days. Here is two that gary rushbrook played Chryslers 'not gonna loose you'  and the creations 'just remember me' probably one of the most soulfull midtempo's  I had the pleasure of hearing there.

Stop it, you're spoiling it now!

Remember being local at the market (Derek's stall) when Florence Devore had just been booted, and an older northern fan said to us, we'll that's the last of the biggies, what next?
