Guest soul_hull
it's always bugged me - there's certain songs that you just can't quite make out what he/she/they are saying. and unlike other lyrics, you can't google 'em. here a couple of the top of me 'ead. epitome of sound - you don't love me... you told me that you loved me baby said i was you lover man, every time i saw you talk to him, you said he was just a friend. It's just the way you said 'i love you' that made me think that i was awww rawwwwwwww <<<<(WHAT IS HE SINGING HERE??????) It sounds like all wrong, but that simply would follow on from the previous line in any way that made sense - so what is it? any ideas? also bobby reed - i'll find a way - what are the backing singers singing throughout? two of my fave songs there - and i've just admitted that i don't know what they are singing!!! chuckle. cyber-pint for any help. Guest mrs norman maine
The first line of Jimmy Reed Jnr 'I ain't going nowhere'- For an embarrassingly long time, my cloth ears heard this as "Bees can make a wave of honey" Conjures up a lovely image, I'm sure you'll agree, but oh so wrong Link to comment Social source share

It is "all wrong" rymes with "so long" in the last line It fits, if you take it as this.. When he says 'It's just the way you said I love you..that made me think that I was all wrong" He means he can tell from the way she says it, she don't really mean it, and he's wrong to have believed her before. Can't fit Mr Burtons explanation in, the "evidence that I was all wrong"?? far too many words! Have knocked most of the backing track out, and slowed it down, and it is 99% he is singing "wrong" Edited October 22, 2006 by Trevski Link to comment Social source share

Misery has finally found me and it's tearing me apart, I can't even eat or sleep now, (here we go!) there's a "fish tank" in my heart.....great to dance to but I'd always come of the floor thinking....." a fish tank.....in his heart?", deep or what?.....
