I had a chance meeting with my MP last week and took the opportunity to suggest to him that politicians and people in the media should calm down and use more measured language, instead of cranking things up they should be trying to calm it down.

. Peace is not easy, but far less painful than war. Lest we forget.

One of the few songs, I know the first time I heard it.  I was in London with parents in a shoe shop, Ravel's,  and I said we can't leave it until the song finishes.  Still has me hooked from the opening til the end.

with say couple of days blast of say sharing recent interesting 1960s purchases or hears  and are 'over the moon' about?

Can't find a release date for either the black or red label versions of this, but perhaps early 1970's rather than 1960's. 

Johnny Gilliam/J G Lewis is always worth a listen, especially for Mayfield/Butler enthusiasts.
