Pay Pal Friends
I don't mind paying "friends and family" when it's folk I know / dealt with before, yourself included, like you say, it doesn't cost me as I've credit in my account and it's not adding to the sellers paypal costs. Why would any buyer want the seller to pay unecessary costs to paypal? I wouldn't for a new seller that I don't know on here with no feedback though.

Sly Stone Awarded Royalties
Looks like he might not get to spend it after all However, the jury disagreed with Glenn Stone and Goldstein's claims and returned a $5 million verdict in favor of Sly Stone, with Even St. ordered to pay the Family Stone rocker $2.5 million, Goldstein forced to pay $2.45 million and Glenn Stone $50,000. However, the decision gets murky given Sly Stone's status of a co-owner in Even St. Productions, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2013. A judge will sort out that and other issues when the case returns to court "in a few weeks," Hornberger said. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/sly-stone-awarded-5-million-in-royalty-lawsuit-20150128

Sly Stone Awarded Royalties
Good to hear he's getting what's owed to him. We've heard stories of artists not getting there dues for decades, will this be the start of further lawsuits? Too late for some sadly.

Seeing as it's xmas and I like your post, send me a pm with your address, I've got a spare copy you can have it, (plays great but a bit of a tear on label) Also got it by the Duprees on Polydor https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PvO0xh9ss8

Value Please - Charles Johnson
£150 - £250 for a decent copy now I guess? Over £350 10 years ago for a nice one. One of them that's not quite held its price as more have turned up. never, never, never, never, never, never get tired of hearing it, great tune. as an edit, there's a blue boot knocking about backed with Lew Kirton HITA.
-
Kelly Brothers - Crying Days Are Over Anyone ?
Remember seeing a nice one on British (Sue) go for about £250 some years ago.

I Keep Tryin' Fred Hughes
So going back to the original question, it seems it was booted! J.M. "Our tip is do not buy any variation of this title with “I KEEP TRYIN” lightly scratched into the deadwax - it is certainly a counterfeit." https://www.raresoulman.co.uk/index.php/auction/9573/i-keep-tryin-cw-weve-got-love
