I would have said around £30 for a black UK Liberty copy.....that being said I don't think they are as readily available as the US issue ..oh and yes proper old school :-)

But, would you entertain something new, someone new, something different, different styles? ** A few do...many don't. A plethora of reasons, with it being more of a 'social scene'...ie go to work all week , out with mates at weekend.....been the same for years ..can't blame folks for that really would promoters be prepared to maybe have an extra room to run alongside their event? and maybe this all goes on already? ** It does...loadsa second rooms nowadays around offering something different esp at Allnighters.....so there is a demand, however small that may be..

Yes it seems 'it was rammed' has become a new essential descriptor, and the 'variety and quality of music was excellent' has slipped down the pecking order a tad..just an observation :-) Yes I know venues are expensive to hire etc...but are attendance numbers REALLY the reason people go out and does it now outweigh the quality of music ?

Yes it's true !! There were very few cameras about in the early days, hence very few pics from clubs like the Torch, Up the Junction...and even fewer from the wheel. I was primarily referring to pre Wigan..

bloody ell thats a 'blast from the past' I remember them...got like a cartridge film that slotted in....seemed dead modern at the time...untill you had to wait a week for it to be developed lol :-)

...and that poses an interesting thought For want of a better word 'bitd'...there was NO cameras. In fact turning up to an allnighter and flashing a camera about...would have been a NO NO....so much so..that it would be 'consider yourself rolled' and bye bye to the camera!! Hence hardly any pics exist esp pre Wigan. So no record of what it was about..word of mouth and 'folklore' and UNDERGROUND Imagine the next generation 'googling' Northern soul .....one shudders !!
