Just got back from Cornwall ,was looking for slow worms the whole fortnight then walked from Campsite to Boscastle and nearly stood on one on the path.Also sunset from caravan .

Just got back from Yorkshire east Coast,walked to Flamborough saw about 40 seals ,Tide was in and they were playing in this bay for ages some nearly comong onto beach at times and swimming in and out of the caves. There were supposed to be shots on the phone but when i got home the elusive buggers had avoided me ,mind you we were a fair distance away but here are a couple of shots of the bay in question. Apparently everyone had headed for Bempton Cliffs as there was an Albatros there.

Terry Callier wrote some wonderful tunes a few done by the Dells which has to be one of the best combinations there could be,eg. but one of my favourites by him is this

Whilst walking up in Northumberland a Stonechat started distracting us from what must have been the nesting site it came within about 3 feet of us just managed to grab the phone and take a picture. Saw quite a few others out and about in the dune lands. Also Dunsatnburgh Castle from Craster side.

It,s a strange one because you would think that if done say after a run of parlophone demo,s that the title and everything would have been wrong so it points to an error when printing the labels. Have got records with completely the wrong labels on probably done at pressing stage.I wonder how many there are? Certainly wierd.

Have been going out for last 40 years to local W.M.C. On Sunday night and hear cringe worthy versions of Do I love you coming from the concert room nearly every week nowadays Not for me thanks

I have all 3 on 45, acquired the dells 1st and then the 4 Tops in a second hand shop for 50p.Then going through Anglo American catalogue in the nineties saw Laura’s version for £5 so bought 5 copies which I have since passed on to other collectors. This is a near impossible choice for me Marvin or Levi can’t vote for both so I will go for the Mighty Dells as this was my 1st copy and just love The Dells. It still feels an uncomfortable decision though.

There are many great new and previous unissued nowadays but I have only heard them on podcasts and not many at all at venues,I bet you could do a great night just using such records with a few lesser played originals .But the problem is would you get enough punters through the doors.
