  1. Yeah, I'd like to hear it. It will just wither away on a cassette so converting it to an mp3 will give it a better chance of being saved for posterity.

I've never heard it out but don't see why not. It's a great song but a little difficult to dance to. Miles is a great artist - one of my faves. Some of his more recent stuff is good too. Should've Been Strong got big plays about 8 years ago.

Here's a few of my faves. I'm quite sure they're all LP only but will stand corrected if somebody knows different: Al Wilson - 50/50 William Bell - Relax The O'Jays - Let Life Flow David Ruffin - I Wanna Be With You

Great list of records. Broomfield did come out as a single though. I love the Lou Rawls track!
  7. I thought it was on red vinyl in the first place.

  16. This Marissa Rose track has got to be the current killer tune:
  17. Is the all red label an original?
  18. That's right Bob. She also guested for Norman Connors but thought I was missing something.
  19. Which group was Jean Carn in?
  20. Stomp is a classic. Love it! Strawberry Letter 23 is probably more up your street.
  21. I quite like it too. Let's face, anything by him is going to be worth listening to.
  22. I wonder why they only focussed on the Casablanca label specifically. I've only got a few records on that label and never considered it be nowehere near as influential as, say, Salsoul.

I saw him live in 1988 at Hammersmith Odeon, supported by Gerald Albright and Peices of a Dream. He was excellent. Much, much better than I expected him to be.
  24. Don Ray - Born a Loser - <2 minutes of magic. Wasn't Nancy Ames white too?

I guess it's tough when you're trying to compete with Boris Karloff
