Jud used to be about at most venues. Never once did I see him being intrusive with his camera. Always saw it at hip height and focusing on the dancers. Shame he has stopped doing it. Most folk on the scene are glad with the fact if wasn't for the likes of Glynis Elgey etc at Wigan there wouldn't be any images of the fabulous times throughout the past years of Northern Soul.

Oh dear 😮 Just seen it on BBC player but clicked off half way through his stint. Seems a lovely man but another example of how the Northern scene is seen by the masses.

We saw this crescent on our way home and didn't realise the bright star next to it was Venus. We commented it looked like a scene from the Christmas story. Chuffed now to know what that bright star was. Fabulous photo too 😊

A sad day for all those who knew or met Grant. A top knowledgeable D.J, dancer at the casino and most of all a good friend. I'll have happy memories of times gone by at the casino, trips to watch him d.j all over the north west but especially the Southport weekender and 100 club trips. Also the original records I was so lucky to receive from him. Will be treasured forever. My thoughts are with Andrea and his family at this difficult time . Xx 💕

I was in Barmouth until Saturday with our caravan. Take a week there every year. Beautiful chill out place.
