  1. Got to agree 2 great albums that still do it today ,the first one totally changed my musical direction from northern to the deeper side of things and after that there was no turning back for me .

Marvin Gaye Sheffield City Hall 1976 ,just to be in the same hall as the great man was kinda spritual he even threw a Marvin strop with the band and said get it right lads or i,m not doing the show ! before going off and coming back minutes later ( could have been part of the act though ) . Also the late greats Edwin Starr with Jr. Walker at the same place both awesome and Edwin had a band called Total Concept Unlimited with him who went on to find fame as Rose Royce.

Stopped buying records a few years ago too much space taken and too much of a f**k about to play em , never been a record collector as such just acquired records and ended up with loads of em , now i just purchase cds for listening to . Strange thing is i won,t part with any records even though they are just gathering dust too many memories i suppose.

  22. Thats great ,but the strange thing is if i had been in the shop i would not have given a fu*k about the records i would just have wanted Eusebios autograph , i was only 11 at the time though, i assume it was the 66 World Cup.
