  5. i have a copy which I must have had for about ten years or longer. its definitely the later run of soul city. the writing on mine is slightly different it just says Mayfield Singers in block capitals and underneath the spindle hole the title.theres nothing in the dead wax either stamped or scratched

  7. Just played my intruders "Up and Down The Ladder" London Demo which ive had for over 20 years. It kept jumping....on checking the record it has developed quite a large warp! How? . Records that were filed away either side played fine.
  8. The machine cleans 7,10,12 and 16 inch records. what does a 16inch record look like . ive never seen or read about them.

  17. Really good music! Early soul just moving away from Doo Wop. What a fantastic group they became. The lead singer John Gary Williams went on to release an excellent album in the 70s containing a brilliant version of "How Could I Let You Get Away". and many others.

    I'm mainly a late 60s early 70s motown ...........however Bottom and Co. Gotta find a true love is brilliant, although its classed as modern soul/ crossover ?
