The 12" is over 7 minutes long because that is how long it was made to last. The 7" is just a pointless edit with bits missing for people who put format before quality.

Just seen the price of the original 12" on discogs. Shocked that both the 7" & the original 12" are going for so much as always thought of it as a common record. All of the above Mark First I heard play it was Steve Mannion but think that all of the people above were onto it at roughly the same time so it's all a bit irrelevant really. Also know that Mr Perry still has a garage full of mostly 12" copy's but there are a few 7's in there too but he won't let them go cheap as loads have tried.

Why on Earth does the year of release make any difference? Just call it 'Soulful Dance' music regardless of the year it was recorded as it's all Soul music that people dance to.
