2.00am set at Blackpool last week in the Old Vic was superb. Not many I recognised, but this one was a great starter

Remember Dave Godin saying at an early Soul Essence that Diana Ross questioned whether she was allowed to travel in the same car as him when the Motown review toured in the early 60s.

I started again couple of years ago after a gap of 20 years. Last two dates have been cancelled on the day by the service. Don’t know if that’s apathy from the public or lack of staff.

Lovely memories of him playing Deon Jackson ‘ I remember the feeling’ and Jackie Wilson ‘Open the door to your heart’ as the sun rose over Morecambe Pier. Great DJ and such a nice guy. RIP Brian.
