  4. This must be pretty high on the list ...
  5. I'd have thought £600 in the nineties would have caused a bigger stir on here than £2250 in 2021 ... There are umpteen copies about tied up in collections like mine , I know a chap from Ely that had boxes of them to get rid of in the early eighties (all went for about £6 a pop as I recall ... )

  18. It's an auction item FFS , the person with the greatest desire to own an item along with the deepest pockets will always win over someone with an equal desire but less cash to spend , always has been that way regardless of the nature of the big-ticket item being auctioned , always will be. If you are hunting down the big ticket items on e-bay or JM then you will always be banging heads with the wealthiest laziest buyers and always coming off second best.
  19. Just had this pop up on my Facebook page , thought it needed sharing on here ... https://www.smithsonianmag.com/arts-culture/dont-call-it-doo-wop-180977950/?fbclid=IwAR2nbCT0oUBYcfvmDAQTfzzUYiP1Rh7xWeqMb4TO7K0_d4PPRV54yQ4bdSk

  21. An all time favourite of mine , had one since the eighties but rarely hear it played out these days . I guess that today's DJ's think they are being kind to the old punters legs and tickers ...
  22. Charlie Schuck, Billy Grinstead, John Price, Doug Campbell, Paul Million, Gary Lavendar and Meade Brown ...
