  5. Wonder why the seller didn’t go back to John for his services, knowing full well he has one of the most captive NS auction sites in recent times...if I remember right, didn’t the site crash about 20mins before the final whistle, and the price that was paid was the final bid at the time of the crash,if so,who knows how far that record could have gone!!!
  6. Cheers for that Blackie, see if you can put the PJ Robinson one up too, would be great to compare...

I think it was in the mid 1990’s that Thames Television(London Area)auctioned off their vast library to the public, they had been broadcasting since the early 1960’s and had received most releases since then.Aparently, when they came to value the stock of vinyl, they found that most of the heavier items had already disappeared ...oops...😉
  8. One of two Andee releases I have, other one is the Drifters ...this is a full on,uptempo spunker if ever there was one,by Prince Johnny Robinson, and not too difficult to obtain...
  9. The copy I have is credited to “BUCK ROGERS,the same as JM has put on UTube, not BuckS RoDgers... I didn’t think there was that much demand for it...

Was it VinylCountDown in Ponthir, between Cwmbran and Caerleon? I believe the guy was called Robin, every time I was going past he was never open, could see all the records thru the key hole in the door to the old shed where they were kept....
  13. You’re right there Dave, good shout....got one myself on minty RCA Black........
  14. He didn’t record for that many lables ,but his output was quite varied and vast.As for Northern related tunes, you probably won’t have to look much further than MGM,RCA and a couple on Epic(including some great R&R tunes)........
