  1. Not enough in my opinion, great track. I have played it before but it definately could do with a push.
  2. Not easy to get a decent copy label wise as a lot came here stuck together. I bought a couple many years ago from a guy in London. He had them from Brownie i believe. Crying shame to leave most as hardly any label.
  3. Like you say there is a bit of a gap from the two Magic City releases he was involved in after Motown and the Saginaw labels. However i have always thought some of these tracks definately sound earlier than 1970 or so!!!
  4. I would like to hear and own Revilot 205 the Holidays Dont Make Me A Storyteller. 205 is Holidays but different tracks and this song was Steve Mancha on Groovesville 1005. Either bad typo if your trying to sell stuff or extremely rare yet to be found double number?
  5. Hiya Brent Dont mean to be negative but Chandlers on styrene!!!!

I wholeheartedly agree with everything said about the prices on this site, and his reissues stroke bootlegs really piss me off. I would point out though that Mannys prices mostly are a joke as are Moerers who now follows Manship dollar to pound. I generally give myself six months to find something i want before succumbing to their prices. My opinion i know but i feel the big boys are untouchable on prices a bit like the utilities and banks. Im in the real world at the moment and want value for my coin.

Isn't this very poorly recorded, pressed badly? Got one somewhere and like the record but it got on my nerves.Thought they were all pressed badly.
  9. Isn,t the intro to Bobby Guitar Bennett very similar?

I agree with Flanny.Sold a spare recently for 80 which I got for peanuts. If I was selling my own now I would want a lot more.I was inundated with pm,s.Its a case of a quality tune sitting in collections being hard to obtain now.Mine not for sale by the way.Trev
  11. Somebody can show me an issue of the Exits on Kapp please.
  12. That Fontella Bass looks nice.Never seen that before!
  13. I have to disagree about the Motown group demos being that rare.Sorry!!!!! Difficult to find in decent nick a lot of the time though and perhaps certain pressing variations.
  14. Not an easy one to pick up at all.I had a lovely one come through cracked. Managed to get another but not in as good shape. This was within a week of each other about 5 yrs ago. Never seen another for sale. Good luck.

So Jock OAO. Original Arguments Only. Some things never change with you mate!!!
  16. Nev Just noticed this myself about it being a vinyl copy in question. Note to self. Take more notice of subject when reading.
  17. It has the same number as another release on the label.Velvet I think!
  18. Dave Thorley had one last week i think.
  19. Thought Vegemite was for them girlie Aussies who could,nt handle the real thing!!!!!
  20. Pretty sure the Soul Rockers is promo only.Never seen an issue. My two are By coincidence - Albert Jones - Reflections - Bumpshop Jackie Lee - One for the road - ABC
  21. I would add the Chandlers to this list and to a slightly lesser degree Montclairs as always copies up for sale but very difficult to find in really good condition. I would also add that a lot of these records are highly regarded and kept in collections. Now think how many collectors out there in UK alone. Then add Europe,Japan and them Johnny come latelys the Yanks (only joking) and you can see why prices hold.
  22. I see Aidey Pearce has a Dickie and the Ebbtides on Ebay. Not Soul i know but for label completists have you ever actually seen one before? I know i havent.Love it when anything turns up that supposedly doesnt exist. When its on such an iconic label though, wow.
  23. Funkadelic - Fish,chips an sweat!!!!!
  24. Square as a pool table and twice as green. Aaron Neville - Hard nut to crack. You couldnt part us with a tommy gun. Magnificent Seven - Never will i make my baby cry.
