  1. cotillion issued a 45 called love is what we came here for in 1971. dont know if its the same song in an earlier version to the rca cut. his other cotillion 45 just my way of loving you is great tho. think my mate soulful mick on here had a spare rca lp dave

  3. this is true sebastian but most northern soul records turn up frequently on ebay but dealers wouldnt sell them for those prices dave

  6. the gallop came out late 1969. it may even be 1970. the vocal came out in 1977 just prior to the uk grapevine issue. its not a boot. im sure john and richard s who worked for rca at the time released the grapevine 45`s with permission dave

  13. my technology/ knowledge of computers aint that good either. i dragged it of soulfulkindabiscuits site on you tube to get soundclips for my sales bits. got a usb deck at brians and loads o mp3`s but still i dont seem to have the time or patience to do my own soundfiles yet. will get round to it one day dave
  14. i thort that and thats why i sold me uk and us copies on private stock. all i have left now is a dede swarchz rca demo. the private stock was a small soul hit in the states ..... no 80 0dd from memory and probably why it came out over here dave

  19. dee dee warwick came out as dede swarchz on rca a year later in 1976. it was b side on private stock and a side on rca for some reason. these 2 labels play the same recording. debra anderson uses the same backing track but different vocalist to these ears dave
  20. rca took over motown catalogue in jan 1982 so it was probably made then or later dave

  25. channel three demo shouldnt be worth any more than a ton really. like a lot of tunes , too many copies around and demand not quite what it was. still a great record tho dave
