seen the same copy a few months back on ebay and its even worse when seen out of the sleeve. i like how he has put no return me thinks he may have that for a while lol

can remember "love is a good foundation" at the pier people clapping and a few other songs but did slowly drifted away when pier shut and moved to the carelton inn. personally miss it used to be great to here it added to the songs and atmosphere.

She is in a hospital in Detroit and is in dire need of financial assistance after surgery. The legendary Motown Singer Kim Weston, is rehabing after a major surgery. Kim was the first duet partner for Marvin Gaye, with the song "It Takes Two,"(Baby). Also she performed and recorded the most popular version of "Lift Every Voice and Sing." She needs financial support right now, due to illness prior to the surgery and not being able to perform. I would like to ask if you would give whatever you are able, $5, $10, $20 or more if able. It will all add up if everyone Chips in. The goal is to get her into a nice senior facility and help with a couple months or more rent until she can heal and get back on her feet. what an amazing voice, great take on this classic tune -
very impressive people giving not just money but there time and effort to reach such a huge amount of money for one of the best charities there is .hats off to everyone involved and they aint finished yet lets all try and help out donate even a pound or £5 it all helps . bravo you guys the world would be a much better place with more like mind people like yourselves.

great and well written piece and of history your incite to post wigan. the weekender scene was big with the upnorth promotions by alex lowes if i remember from fleetwood,morecambe pontins and eventually southport and 21 years later still going strong but has gone more modern/dance after a few years had some great times there.

They did a heritage weekend in morecambe and the sunday was classed as northern soul alldayer which part of the event was dancing lessons from Levanna Mclean which i cringed when i read it a promotional pamphlet. NOT saying she cant dance its the thought of dance lessons at an alldayer the mind boggles
