  1. Thank you - much appreciated ! !
  2. So...if someone had some acetates, is it okay to store them in the paper Audiodiscs sleeve or is there a better way to protect them ?
  3. Right, except that the ATCO, the Stereo and the ATCO Records is in black -
  4. The Duvals is definitely 1963. It's 10 /10 on this survey-
  5. That same info (1963 release) is also on Discogs.
  6. There is also a variation with the Stereo and Atco Records in black- that's also an original .
  7. According to the liner notes on this CD, the track was previously unreleased. The song was recorded on July 22. 1966 and features Ray Monette on guitar.
  8. After a really rough touring schedule for "Where Did Our Love Go", the Supremes had to cancel their show at Detroit's Twenty Grand. Their replacements- Kim Weston and the Andantes .
  9. Sorry to hear this. R.I.P. Rance !
  10. Here's the group in 1971 -
  11. Can't find anything on The Traits, but "Someday, Someway" was later redone by Center Stage-
  12. The Jo-By was the 1st release (May, 1967), the Tag came out in September.
  13. I like the label credits on the Jo-By copy- the writer (Joel Turnero) and the Supervisor (Skip Layne) are the same person.
  14. One more for the list -
  15. Was surprised to hear "Don't Send Nobody Else" in the background of this tv ad. Not sure where this version came from .
  16. I believe King used the white label promos until late '67/ early '68 when they starting using the yellow label for promos.
  17. Here's another version but I don't think it's the one you're looking for -
  18. According to discogs, it is the same group.
  19. Okay now I see what you mean. I guess it is possible that they used the other United Record Distributors that was based in Puerto Rico !
  20. Pretty sure this is the same person -
  21. Let's try this again.... The United Record Distributors is the same company that was listed in the original post from 1968 and is also listed on the Conservatives 45 as "United Record Distributed" . In this ad from 1971, the company is still at the same address and also still involves the Leaner family -
  22. Manship's 6th edition doesn't mention a bootleg. I did find an "unofficial release" on discogs which added 20 + seconds to the "Village Of Tears" .
  23. Here's a list of companies United distributed in 1968 -
