In the alternative room we have Fuzzer, Pinchesis Twins and guesting also will be Col Denham and Gaz Simon. the night runs from 8pm til 1am, the venue has a large wooden sprung dancefloor and ample parking. Its £4 on the door and record dealers are welcome. Col was on top form at the york alldayer at easter, talking to him saturday night he is really looking forward to being back at the Empress long time since the Guy Hennigan days for Col. Bri Rae will be there all night through he tells me and cheryl playing memories from mr ms. 6 dj,s with some of the best records in the country all in one place a night to look forward too. Two rooms one of pure nostalgia with Brian Rae original casino dj and northern pioneer. The Alternate room bringing a bit of a play off between 4 of the north's top rare and underplay dj's' A night not for the faint hearted!!! The last time he was in mexborough i think was at the electric theater run by me, terry wright, and dave (woody) woods about seven years ago. There is loads on Brian if you google is name or facebook. So no camping outside waiting for mr ms to open its straight in and warm up ready for the ledgend brian rae Link to comment

Thinking there will be 2 legends in the main room 1 being Bri Rae the other the dance floor a super sprung wooden floor that once graced the tower lounge at blackpool till it was refitted and put in the empress. Top class oldies in the main ballroom a cert with Brian Rae and the northeast boys Gas and Col going back to there roots.
