Chalky
Timmion are the old style acetate and sound quality is better than Vinyl Carvers. There's the Music House or whatever they are called in Tottenham. Link to comment Social source share

Chalky
When you say "old style acetate", what does that mean? The type with lacquer on metal. Vinyl carvers are what they say vinyl. All I've had sound dull compared to the ones from Timmion. Link to comment Social source share
Benji
When you say "old style acetate", what does that mean? Timmion = heavy metal disc coated acetate Vinyl carvers = thin carved vinyl discs Link to comment Social source share

Chalky
I would say the vinyl carvers are just as if not thicker than the Timmion discs. Link to comment Social source share

Crikey, didn't know that. The ones I've seen from Timmion were vinyl. Won't the former wear out with use? Link to comment Social source share
Cunnie
Timmion are the old style acetate and sound quality is better than Vinyl Carvers. There's the Music House or whatever they are called in Tottenham. Had some Soulful House one off remixes carved onto 12" vinyl from vinyl carvers & the sound quality is amazing. Think most people try to cram longer tracks onto 7" vinyl & the tighter grooves compromise the sound quality. Link to comment Social source share
