Chalky
Very rare, £750? maybe more? two takes, fast and slow, which one you got? Both rare mind, slower one maybe bit rarer. Fantastic record, one of my fave 70's tracks. Link to comment Social source share

Chalky
No it was Andy mate. I did have a mix up on the old Lifeline site of both takes, I'll see if I can find it later. Link to comment Social source share
boba
The two different versions have different catalog numbers but are sequential. Kenny Harrison of the group (who Pete S put me in contact with) told me that they recorded the slower version, then they decided they wanted to target the disco market which was blowing up, so they went back and rerecorded the faster version. boba
also, in relation to the original query, I think pete would have to supply the catalog number, and I'd think the two versions would have different values (not sure what they would be). The slow version is MH6577 and the fast version is MH6578. Link to comment Social source share
Pete S
Well I've been asked to sell it on Kenney's behalf so I'll get the info from him soon as I can. Link to comment Social source share

Chalky
That's one of the best podcasts i've ever heard. Thank you. High praise indeed considering the quality of your podcasts. Must stress they aren't my records rather a showcase of what has gone before at Lifeline. The podcasts were done to help promote the nighter and introduce some more obscure records to the mainstream soulie. 1 Link to comment Social source share
John Reed
I thought it was a great podcast too, and included the first Chocolate Buttermiilk Band single on CBM. Which I got completely spanked on when it came up on ebay a couple of weeks ago. Edited September 17, 2012 by John Reed 1 Link to comment Social source share

Guest jinx74
i never had the dancey one. was lucky enough to see them all on stage a handful of years ago and got them to sign my copy. excellent tune Link to comment Social source share
Steve G
I've only ever seen one fast one and it took me ages to get the mid tempo one. I think the faster version is slightly harder than the mid tempo version. But it's all relative - try finding any copy is not easy. Link to comment Social source share

Chalky
Not sure if I listed the slower take for Andy in one of his lists, he has had both for sale, think one went for a £1000 or thereabouts if I remember rightly. Link to comment Social source share
Pete S
Right well my friend has got BOTH versions for sale but is being a bit coy about what he'll accept for either, I suppose I should try to get some concrete offers put to him, though this saga has been going on for years to be honest.
