You've not got his rare one then Ted ?

Dave

Odd copies did appear in the 80s/90s....but the last 10 years hardly ever

Think its only been on eBay a couple o times

You're right dave, there were a few around in late 80's early 90's but not TOO many

At that time it was going for around £200/£250

Nice record

Actually Nev I think you may be right there, that seems to ring a bell as the rough price when the copies turned up

TFK will be able to confirm

A few guys round my way had this back then ...andy Whitmore, John Britton, tats etc

That's who I was referring to dave TFK on here is Andy Whitmore

He put me onto it at the time, And I had the chance of one at the time, but didnt want to pay the £100 asking price

As I say, nice record, but at the time I was buying 10 great unknowns at £10 each!!!!

Nice to see Phil is now sorted :)

Safe to say we can blame Andy for championing all this cross over nonsense onto the scene lol

Arthur Fenn told me a brilliant story....its not up to me to post so maybe he will post it when he sees this..

Arthur gave me a copy of his Caiburt 45 as a wedding present 25 years ago.

also a fabulous and imo underated 45

Which one Dave ?

I played this at Shotts once too..Can't for the life of me remember who I sold mine to?

I must admit alan i cant remember you playing it, however you probably did and I was probably either -

Mopping the toilets due to a flood

Chasing woody or ozzy around the place

Dealing with the cops at the front door

I always thought it was a Soul Sam discovery, I expect a few of 'the guys' were playing it around that time though. I remember Sam playing it at The Embankment Club around 92 / 93 time, so he may have picked up on it shortly after it was first 'aired'.

Whatever - It's a great record, which very much suits Soul Sam (Great taste)

All the best,

Len
