Ask Rod if he has any left he had a few copies awhile back, I bought 4 and sold them for £100 each, oh happy days at affleck's Palace.

You're right dave, there were a few around in late 80's early 90's but not TOO many

At that time it was going for around £200/£250

Nice record

Jim

I heard it was nearer the £80- £100 mark ?

Nice to see Phil is now sorted :)

Sorry youre wrong it wasn't steve Davis

Andy Whitmore had it long before rod dearlove etc. and was playing it out - he got it from Butch for £40

He put me onto it at the time, And I had the chance of one at the time, but didnt want to pay the £100 asking price

As I say, nice record, but at the time I was buying 10 great unknowns at £10 each!!!!

I played this at Shotts once too..Can't for the life of me remember who I sold mine to?

I always thought it was a Soul Sam discovery, I expect a few of 'the guys' were playing it around that time though. I remember Sam playing it at The Embankment Club around 92 / 93 time, so he may have picked up on it shortly after it was first 'aired'.

Whatever - It's a great record, which very much suits Soul Sam (Great taste)

All the best,

Len
