Not sure if this should be in this section, but heard this morning that William Bell is on Jules Holland's 'Hootenanny' this New Year's Eve.

He is  had friends went to the recording and had pleasure of meeting him. Does a duet with Joss Stone " Private number"

Wonder if he will do 'Happy'...? ;-)

If so, I do hope the inevitable involvement of Jools Holland's boogie woogie piano don't ruin things too much...

That'll be worth tuning in for - always had a fondness for this!

Well I for one was well Impressed, a brilliant way to see in the New Year.

William Bell in 2014 / 2015, still  performing records like Happy and Private Number.

Well worth staying up for . i thought he was excellent.

Not only did he sound good he looked at least a decade younger.

Great performances from William Bell. Sounded great with Jools' R & B Orchestra behind him, and Ms Stone was none too shoddy.

It was just a one off visit sponsored by a friend.

Mr Bell looked/sounded great.

 

Hes performing live in Amsterdam (De Melkweg) 28th Feb.

we were having our own party... playin records..drinkin beer  n stuff...only stopped the music to listen to william bell and ring new year in..... very sorry to hear about your loss....

I must have heard Happy a 1,000 times and it still hits the spot   one hell of a soul record.
