I know it's early to think of winter but I've been asked to play a few tunes in November on The BIG A C's soul show on Future Radio in Norwich .  Adrian enjoys a theme and has left it to me to come up with one that is full of good tunes. Winter tunes might be fun but help needed with suggestions. Here's two to kick off a list (I hope).

Many thanks for your suggestions.

Lonnie Hill ' Cold cold winter in the ghetto' on the Urban Sound logo would seem a reasonable choice or Herman Atterways ' Merry christmas girl' on the B.E.T.A  logo.   Andy

Not soul but fantastic nevertheless

Willie Walker's Deep Soul classic 'Warm To Cool To Cold' (Checker)

Blues rather than Soul, but the great Lightnin' Slim's 'Winter Time Blues' (Excello)

Well here is one, would make a nice finisher, on those cold Winter Mornings nothing better than staying under the nice warm duvet *Bliss*

This reduces me to tears for very personal reasons from many years ago.

Please listen to the words properly and they are special.  How can anyone write up with these lyrics unless they have been there.

Thanks for the suggestions - some really imaginative ones. trying to compile Winter songs as opposed to Christmas songs. Here's one that was also recorded by Billy Butler & Infinity. Written by Terry Callier
