Yeeehaaw Monday

Recommended Posts

Think it might be fun this one... northern soul meets country... god knows where it's going to end up!!

Anyway... i'll start off with probably the most devastating thing ever for a mate of mine... i'll mention no names Dave Warr!

You go to a car boot... you come across this...

... you run home... sure you've just found the biggest record since Walter & Admirations.... stick it on the turn table... volume turned up high...

and then... out comes this...

As the theme is 'soul meets country', is there any chance someone could post a clip of Charlie Rich, "Don't tear me down"?

Would cheer up a wet rainy Monday no end, though it's not exactly a happy record, but I'm sure y'all know what I mean........

Got a country sounding name... and voice.. got an image of Tammy Wynett in my head...

Anybody got a photo of Miss Loretta?

Pretty sure she's not a 'Tammy' - Her only 45 I think and the flip made one of the Dave Godin Deep Soul CD's. Got a UK release too on Atlantic. Pretty hard to find these days on either UK or US. Great 2 sides.
