That's a superb read Lorraine and Dave, thank you very much. I just love Maxine's voice. It's hard to credit that she didn't get the break her talent merited.

Out of interest, does anyone know who owns the Commonwealth United catalog now?

That's a terrific biography Lorraine and Dave, thanks very much. Everyone who has met Maxine says what a wonderful person she is too with a wicked sense of humour and also values everyone she meets. The video she did with Elaine Constantine in NYC for the Cleethorpes video in the 90s shows her fun side as well as her talent

Another superb write up Dave.  You really are doing these inductees the justice they deserve.

Glad people are enjoying them.  Hopefully we'll add up to date photos of the artists shortly too. ;-)

The EP containing See and Don't See isn't Canadian - it's a US promo for the LP. It comes in a sleeve that's a variation of the one used on the album.

Thanks for that info snippet Godz. I've never seen the EP which is why I said 'reputedly'. If you have one could you post a scan for us or send a scan to hitsville2648@earthlink.net Mate please. Be good to finally put the EP to rest.

Awesome voice and her rendition of oh no not my baby was superb stands out for me.  One in a  million was another great tune by her the list could go on and on definitely worth Hall of fame status imho. One of my favourite female artists

Her voice rng through clear as a bell at Cleggy this time, my first time seeing her, lovely lady had a very funny half hour with her and Ronnie Canada.
