  1. Major Minor is a re-sleeved reissue of the UK King LP that came out in 1968. The King issue came out in 1966, although all of the tracks on it were from earlier. It also came out in Argentina with the same cover as the UK King Issue.
  2. I always thought it was linked to Johnny Nash and had links to New York.... Could be completely wrong though.
  3. Looking at the list of 70s boots an UK issues he's listed i'd say there's as much chance of it being an original as me winning slimmer of the year.
  4. At a guess they are from different parts of the US. Monarch = West Coast The other, no idea without more details.
  5. Wouldn't fancy going for a pint in your local.
  6. Wrong time of year to be selling 'big hitters' IMO. Times are tight, and friends are few, as the old adage goes. I'd put it back up for sale in Feb and watch it go.
  7. Copa. I was told that Fred went on to produce/write A Taste Of Honey's "Boogie Oogie Oogie"
  8. I'd like to see what else came out on the label since that's number 9.
  9. Same take as the 45 or different? If the same, then I'd say less, if different then it depends on the cut...

I got over £20 for one on eBay a few years back.
  11. A great double sider that's cheap and cheerful.
  12. It's on soulsalmons sale list - he put it up as a possible trade.
  13. Well, I could go - and so could Soul Sam. On second thoughts I'll pass.
  14. Sure I've got a nice clean issue - I'll look for it over the weekend... Shouldn't cost a mint... about £15 sound fair?
  15. I've got a issue that I paid around £100 for in 1995 - when the demo was about £60 to £70 - it was a wedding gift to my wife as 'What's the Use...." was her favourite tune at the time. Definately a lot rarer on issue.
  16. That's ok - I'll look for it over the next few days and get back to you over the weekend. If I still have it, it will be Mint- $25 including all charges and postage sound good?
  17. I *may* still have a demo of this in my sales - how quickly do you need it?
  18. Post of 2011 for me.
  19. Roger Banks had the Edith Brown, and I believe a member on here made him an offer he couldn't refuse...
  20. The Jazzy guitar makes it sound like a 1970s Schools Television theme tune... which can only be a good thing.
  21. Drop the 'o' from his ID and you'd be closer the truth.
  22. Bought a 5 Royales 45 off an ebay seller, to sell on and decided to look through his other items to offset high postage costs. Saw a record I'd never heard of, by a fairly prolific artist with an opening bid of $5. Thought i might as well have a punt at it for the price. Won it, and paid for the pair. Then checked it out in Manships: Billy Sha Rae - Pitfall - Rapid 1 - £700 NOR. Result.
