Guitar Ray On Ebay
good seller, grade seems right if you listen to the clip, not out of line at all, people have definitely bought worse sounding 45s, i don't see the issue, it'll probably hit $500, condition isn't there for me to be interested but there are plenty of others out there who aren't so picky.

Volcanos - Laws Of Love
so now people are saying that they have single sided demos with both types of "A"! Throws this argument out the window, will this topic ever be sorted!?!

Northern Soul Dj's In Uk
Those tracks sound pretty good, you should have put them out on 7". Are they all previously unreleased?

Billboard New Release 45 Listings From Back In The Day
How accurate are these actual title lists? We all know the inaccuracy of their actual release dates which can be months late at times but what is the likelihood of them listing stuff which didn't actually come out?

An Unknown Cheapie For All You Connoisseurs
the guys other listings are so random & he has that other 45 by The Oceans at a crazy price too so it can't be a typo, how people can be selling on ebay since 2000 & still have absolutely no idea blows me away, at least The Oceans 45 is rare though.

Not Posting Outside Usa - Your Loss
yeah, good for you yankees i just figure i already have too many 45s so i don't really sweat it & just move on
-
Not Posting Outside Usa - Your Loss
he does indeed say that in the auction description, but the ebay setting of USA only shipping is still turned on, so if you aren't from inside the US it still doesn't let you bid, regardless of what is typed in the description.
-
Lou Courtney Slowly Slipped Away
stating they do ship worldwide but then only accepting bids from the US doesn't always work out.

Supremes, You Got To Pay The Price, On Album ?
I've only got it on the Cellarful of Motown 2 CD from a few years back, I think it was unreleased BITD (would like to be corrected though). You can get the instrumental on 45 or Gloria Taylor's vocal on 45, I think all 3 use the same backing track? Don't quote me on that though, I'm too lazy to pull out the 45s or CD liners or to go to youtube & check

I too find it pretty interesting how younger dudes get into it, so many are, as you say through the Hip Hop scene but for me whenever I talk to these guys I feel like a throwback because I came the other way going from the blues forward to soul. As a musician this made the most sense to me but nearly everyone else my age came back from Hip Hop/samples. I was lucky to fall in with a pretty deep blues collector back when I was starting out. I didn't really know much about Northern Soul or anything back then just liked the records & ended up collecting in a bit of a vacuum really for a long time as New Zealand isn't really what you'd call a hive of soul music afficionados. Interesting reading.

How Do You You Like Me Now - The Heavy....interesting Record
i quite like that, wonder what the rest of their stuff is like.

Bobby Rush - Let Me Love You - Jerry-O
Anyone know if there is a proper vocal version of this backing track on 45? You can hear a faint vocal on the instrumental, wondered if the real vocal cut is out there?

Ignorant Posters In Wants
this is the one that gets me, offering a $50 record for $100 & thinking they're doing you a favour, uh, i'll keep waiting thanks. or the even more perplexing, some numbsack says they have a 45 you want, it's a $50 max 45 on ebay when it turns up, you be nice & offer them $75 & they turn you down. i just don't get it. lucky i can be patient when it comes to 45s
