  1. Last day in the big apple and spotted this. Just love the weird and wonderful! Ed
  2. Sorry...not sure why this happened.. Anyway. The new observation deck will be the biggest glass bottom type in the world.. New York is a construction site at the moment. Literally 20 or more massive buildings going up. Ed
  3. Tomangoes replied to Girdwoodinc's post in a topic in Look At Your Box
Not much use apart from personal use? Better to spend the money on a set of grapevine 45s....at least they are all first UK issues and could be dj'd with. Ed
  4. Now now folks...you know the rules: Ed
  5. Doo or Duo? Ed
  6. On the elevated garden walkway... I never touched it ! But it looks that way. Here is a sneak preview of what may be a new observatory style deck on a new tower around 34 and 10. Ed

  13. Wow.....thats some dialogue. So in 1979 I bought: 10 pence demo, as a punt... Never heard it at a Northern night, but its close to what was being played. So he wrote cashing in? Good luck with your quest. Ed

  19. Closer gap than the leave EU vote.... Johnny is just a bit more 'raw ' and edges it on the dancefloor. Artistics are a top top group though and Hope we have, is a top 10 belter.
  20. Some great tunes, thanks. As a 14 year old, and going to the nappy nights at baileys, this got played and changed everything. Bigger boys...and girls who must have been to all nighters crowded the dancefloor and strutted their stuff. I had to join that crowd..and did. Its always going to be important to me: Ed
  21. I'm not sure things are any different now than they were 40 years ago. A successful promoter can make a good living. Wanting to be one, and actually being one, are poles apart. In this neck of the woods, I've seen the Lord Conyers pub being packed to the rafters, and just a handful in. Stop start, different promoters, different policies. Rare, handbag, and everything in between. I imagine it's the same in every town. The strong do survive... 100 club, Whitby, Prestatyn, SITS, chill out Donny, etc. Ed
  22. What an awful disease. None of us know what's around the next corner, so make every minute count. I hope Mitch did not suffer too much. RIP. Ed
  23. Here is a writer producer and the most famous song..
  24. Not sure if this counts, with 2 Tutts in the credits, but a fine tune whoever was the King! Ed
