Finishing Touch - Second Best... Issue - Rare Or Not?
Bonjour le Tim Zout alors I have 201 & 203 but only boring promos. 201 has "Second Best....:" stereo/mono 203 has "Sunshine And Promises" stereo/mono So I don't have "Your Love Has Put A Spell On Me" which is the flip to 201 201 released 11/74 203 released 6/75 (with thanks to "Soul Harmony" book) Voila Le Paul

Value Of Debonaires "loving You Takes All Of My Time"
Used to love this record and still do. Was booted too soon to go really massive. Remember Richard Searling at Wigan playing it for (his) last time saying the bootlegers had killed it. Maybe a bit of a marmite record tho Cheers Paul

Just How Rare
Remember Mel Britt was on a soul bowl list (79/80) for 6 quid so imagine Mr Anderson had a good few. Didn"t get one as I was into ""newies" at the time.............. Cheers Paul

Richard Searling Cellar Full Of Soul Returns
First hour made me rush outside to finish the very interesting book I was reading. But nice to hear Richards dulcet tones on radio once again There was a football match to watch {so Mrs Shrews told me} so I missed the 2nd hour. How was it? Can we listen "on demand"? Cheers Paul

John Manship Auction Results 11 - 6 2014
Well my QCA press has a strikingly clear text. Also the sound quality is so good it fairly jumps out of the speakers ("I Loved You Girl") side anyway. To be honest I"ve not played the other side for a good while Soooooo.........??? Cheers Paul

Is Covering Up A Soul Dj Kind Of Thing?
You can find plenty of deep soul/ballad 45s here in Holland with the artists/song title erased or covered by marker pen so I guess the Surinamer/Dutch deep soul scene covered up stuff back in the 70s. Cheers Paul
