  3. Bonjour le Tim Zout alors I have 201 & 203 but only boring promos. 201 has "Second Best....:" stereo/mono 203 has "Sunshine And Promises" stereo/mono So I don't have "Your Love Has Put A Spell On Me" which is the flip to 201 201 released 11/74 203 released 6/75 (with thanks to "Soul Harmony" book) Voila Le Paul
  4. Two chances of this on stock copy methinks Phiily Groove 201 & 203 Cheers "Phillygroover" Paul

  10. There is an acetate by Eloise Laws doing ""I Think You Need Love"" Cheers Paul
  11. Used to love this record and still do. Was booted too soon to go really massive. Remember Richard Searling at Wigan playing it for (his) last time saying the bootlegers had killed it. Maybe a bit of a marmite record tho Cheers Paul
  12. Remember Mel Britt was on a soul bowl list (79/80) for 6 quid so imagine Mr Anderson had a good few. Didn"t get one as I was into ""newies" at the time.............. Cheers Paul
  13. First hour made me rush outside to finish the very interesting book I was reading. But nice to hear Richards dulcet tones on radio once again There was a football match to watch {so Mrs Shrews told me} so I missed the 2nd hour. How was it? Can we listen "on demand"? Cheers Paul
  14. Well my QCA press has a strikingly clear text. Also the sound quality is so good it fairly jumps out of the speakers ("I Loved You Girl") side anyway. To be honest I"ve not played the other side for a good while Soooooo.........??? Cheers Paul
  15. I know that Some members still hope to donate but isnt So very apt that there were 45 donations Many Thanks for sorting this Mike Cheers Paul
  16. Very sad news but thanks for letting us know Dave One of the best "soul sourcers" Fantastic radio broadcaster and interviewer. He will be sorely missed. RIP BobA Cheers Paul
  17. Quite possibly pre 74 Russ. For some reason the horns sound more 70s to me tho. Nice track. Cheers Paul
  18. Supremes "Long Gone Lover" on a Dutch 45 Cheers Paul
  19. Yes Russ spin from around 78/79 I think Love it myself had a mint UK copy from that nice Mr Rez for not a lot of dosh a couple of years back. Leon is of course a jazz legend Cheers Paul
  20. You can find plenty of deep soul/ballad 45s here in Holland with the artists/song title erased or covered by marker pen so I guess the Surinamer/Dutch deep soul scene covered up stuff back in the 70s. Cheers Paul
  21. That looks like the pink one to me Cheers Paul
  22. Didn"t we work out on here some time ago that the pink ones came first and then the multi coloured ? Cheers Paul (who dumped his pink one BITD after seeing a multi coloured and thinkilng he had a boot)
