NO because it inevitably conjures up memories of Pop pap.It has been embarrassing as a term since the early 80,s and the first attempts to be documented. Not least since thousands of us arent from up North.

Early nineties Cliff Steele and myself perchanced on a pile of Hows in London. £3 a piece but they were mostly badly water damaged as a lot of La Beat, Mary Janes were.Took the best copies but left plenty as they were stuck together.Supposedly originally came from Tim Brown which makes sense because id previously had other Masqueraders like Be happy for me and One more chance from him.
  9. That Robert Parker sounds nice.Got a WD but never seen it on yellow. Trev

When i spotted your want i thought bloody hell never ever seen a WD of that.Of the opinion there isnt but would love to be proved wrong.
  15. What i dont get is the idea if i dont sell now they wont be worth anything later. So what.If you spent too much more fool you and if you bought to sell at a profit you werent in it for the music/scene.I have never bought a record thinking its an asset for the future. Still it is a lot of dosh if i sell now!!!!
  16. Gave it a 1. It was the usual same old crap.Dreadful. Suppose its because i gave up on NORTHERN Soul early on as i soon realised it only meant dance music whether it was soul or pop .Liking Soul enabled me to encompass the whole lovely Black Music spectrum. Also not coming from the M62 corridor or being a miner i obviously didnt meet the criteria.Still like lots of us from Northampton,Wellingborough,Kettering,Corby,Harborough et all it was great fun thumbing it, jumping trains or borrowing cars to go up norf. Lets not forget the other great niters that influenced our scene as well eh.Likes of St Ives,Peterborough,Yate,Stafford, and Clifton Hall to name a few. And please dont get me on BBC Motown when they show Gladys singing a non Motown number. Some chuffin Archive there then!!!!

If You look at his prices they pretty much mirror $ to £ Mannys. However always rated him as a seller particuarly pre PC. His gradings are exceptional as well.
