Well, the US Veep one is actually 'Premature Golden Sands' which also came out on UK Island.....

Was a higher price several years ago but seems to have dipped back down to a more reasonable amount now.

Anyone else on here order this previously unreleased 45 from Record Collector magazine or just me? White boys tries soul and fails or nice UK version that will become collectable? Thoughts...

Play new purchases several times on the decks, usually on a Saturday and Sunday morning. I then file them in the 'ready to burn' pile. Personal CD compilations are a great way to listen to them, I've made so many now that when I get an earlier made one, I hear a track that I'd completely forgotten I had! I do have a box of special favourites that get a spin on the decks when the mood takes me, usually when I'm at home alone.

That is cheap! Got my order in, paid by the missus for my birthday....which is next week!! Roll on September!

Are we talking about the UK Immediate (IM 040) first release? I thought 'Everything's Gonna Be Alright' was backed with 'Life Is But Nothing' NOT 'First Cut....'???

Roughly when did records in-demand on the Northern Soul scene start to get re-issued? I'm just wondering this as another forum suggested that 'The Carrolls -'Surrender Your love' which got a re-issue by Polydor in 1971 was due to demand on the Northern Soul scene but I would have thought this was too early for that?

Or you can get both on orange re-issues.

There was one in the UK called 45sleeves.com, that used to list all sleeves and years they were used, but that expired in March, I heard the owner died.
