  4. This is our 14th Annual Northern Soul & Rare Motown event to raise monies for Ex-Services Personnel. In our previous 13 years we have raised £33,500 which has been given to The Broughton House Military Veterans Care Village in Manchester. All music played is 100% on Vinyl. No C.D.s or M.P.3.s. Massive thank you Steve Hay who is supplying equipment for both rooms free of charge. Also Martin Manning for being our overall event sponsor. This means every single ££££ that comes in goes to Broughton House . https://www.broughtonhouse.com/ We are having a 2nd event CHEQUE PRESENTATION on Sunday 7th April 2024 at Prestwich Conservative Club , Church Lane , Prestwich , M25 1AN between 2.00pm till 7.00pm. All proceeds from this event will be added to sum raised in Oldham.   5. This event was set up 13 years ago to pay tribute to all who have served for us in the UK Armed forces. We all firmly believe that anyone who has donned the uniform of our country deserves our 100% respect & gratitude. All monies raised are donated to Broughton House Veterans Village , Salford. We have raised £22,500 in our previous events. We only do this event once a year on Easter Sunday. All organisers & DJs do it free of charge.

    This Boxing Day Monday 26th December down at the Bierkeller , Manchester Printworks from 4 till 10 pm a great day of Soul Music ( all on vinyl ) played by Elvin Ironmonger, Mick Hutch, Kev Nolan, Tracey, Graham John Anderson and Eddy Leatherbarrow playing across the board Northern + rare & underplayed northern and all the rest.   10. After the torrid time everyone has endured with Covid-19 here's something good on the horizon. This event was set up by myself 11 years ago to help aid ex-services personell. So far we have raised almost £30,000. The monies have mainly gone to The Military Hospice called Broughton House here in Manchester. This is a residential village for Ladies & Men who have worn the uniform of our country & are suffering long term health issues.   12. We were due to have our 10th annual anniversary of this event in Oldham, last Easter But due to C-19 this was called off. We have raised £27,000 for Broughton House Military Hospice in Manchester. Alan Derby from Bury prior to this date raised another £700 by one of his events at Prestwich Conservative Club. This now passed on making running total £27,700. Delay due to dreaming we could soon do event again. We will do this event again asap. Thank you all who have helped
